Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the NavoOS mobile application ("App") operated by NavoOS ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the NavoOS App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
NavoOS provides a secure digital vault application that enables users to store documents, notes, messages, and media ("Vault Content"), designate trusted individuals ("Keyholders"), and configure legacy access conditions including inactivity-based notifications and transfers. Features available depend on your subscription tier.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@navoos.com.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
- NavoOS offers Free, Starter, Family, and Unlimited subscription tiers. Features vary by tier.
- Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- We do not issue refunds for partial subscription periods except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use NavoOS to:
- Store or transmit illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- Harass, threaten, or harm any person, including Keyholders.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use automated means to access or scrape the App.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
6. Vault Content & Keyholders
- You retain ownership of all content you store in your vault.
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of Keyholder email addresses and the appropriateness of access you grant to Keyholders.
- NavoOS is not responsible for any consequences arising from Keyholder access to your vault, including disputes or unintended disclosures.
- We do not access or review your Vault Content except as required to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.
7. Data & Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. NavoOS does not provide legal, financial, or estate-planning advice — please consult qualified professionals for such matters.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NavoOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of vault content, or disputes involving Keyholders. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time from within the App or by contacting us at support@navoos.com. Upon termination, your Vault Content will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the territory where NavoOS operates.
